I am not one for dwelling on the past., in fact I loathed Social Science at school, but as I have got older I have discovered that our past is just as important as our future.
"Internet Archive" is building a physical archive for the long term preservation of one copy of every book, record, and movie. Their plan is to preserve one copy of every published work. Libraries are unable to achieve this due to the lack of storage within their facilities. It is pleaseing to see that not everyone is relying too heavily on technology

ReplyDeleteThe tide has turned...in the most part we as users of cyberspace tend to digitise everything we can lay our hands on. Now a smart cookie is doing the reverse! Now we are covered on all bases.
