RSS

Due to my picture on iGoogle... I have managed to hide where you start to add gadgets! Not making this task easy for myself.. not at all :-)

Using RSS in Libraries? They need to update their web services more often ie: New Books etc!!

You would thing that Libraries would add an RSS to some sites. A suggestion I will look into.

Preserving our past

I am not one for dwelling on the past., in fact I loathed Social Science at school, but as I have got older I have discovered that our past is just as important as our future.
"Internet Archive" is building a physical archive for the long term preservation of one copy of every book, record, and movie.  Their plan is to preserve one copy of every published work.  Libraries are unable to achieve this due to the lack of storage within their facilities.  It is pleaseing to see that not everyone is relying too heavily on technology
